“ Great pho and noodle bowls. It gets busy during lunch, so come early. Small takeout only place. ”
“ tiny spot with delicious food. there's tons of options from noodle bowls to pho to delicious banh mis. i tried the mango coconut tapioca and it was delicious. i also got the bbq lemongrass pork noodle bowl and the bbq pork was amazing - super flavorful and well prepared. ”
“ I am absolutely love this restaurant. The customer service is exceptionally friendly, and the Vietnamese coffee they serve is nothing short of outstanding. Although there is a bit of a wait during rush hour and lunchtime, the line moves quickly, and the efficient ordering process makes the experience worthwhile. ”
“ I'm not exaggerating, this has to be the best Vietnamese food in Midtown! It's close to work and super convenient for takeout. I love their duck breast pho--it's incredibly flavorful and delicious. I've also tried the Bun Bo Hue, which has a slight kick but is packed with rich flavors. It's the perfect comfort meal. And don't miss the crispy spring rolls! They're perfectly crispy, and instead of minced shrimp, they use whole baby shrimp, giving them a great crunch. TOTALLY OBSESSED! This is my favorite lunch spot. ”
“ Sometimes the best food you'll ever eat comes from a hole in the wall place in the middle of midtown. It's so small, there is no place to sit so you'll have to be good with taking it out. But for all the small that Boi-licious is, there is a huge stamp of approval for quality and taste delivered in your Take Away Bag. As you wait in line, pay homage to the their little sacred place in the corner. For me, seeing it makes this place much more bonfide. IYKYK. The price isn't bad either. This is definitely that little shop that you'll want to keep to yourself. But don't do that, share your experience outloud so more people come. After all, we wouldn't want this little gem to disappear. ”
“ I love this spot. It's a tiny hole in the wall joint but their pho and sandwiches are amazing. It's a small operation with one guy working the register and one guy in the kitchen, but they're fast and friendly. You can't go wrong with either their pho, curry pho or banh mi. It's a great spot to pick up dinner next to Grand Central. Their banh mi's are huge and very flavorful. The other day, I picked up a banh mi for myself and a breakfast burrito for my girlfriend down the street from Little Collins, and no disrespect to Little Collins because their breakfast burrito is really good too, but take a look at the size difference between the Boi-licious banh mi compared to Little Collin's breakfast burrito. And the banh mi was cheaper too! ”
“ They have a great Banh Mi, but you have to ask to get the bread toasted as it comes default on the softer side. Usually just get the Banh Mi, but tried the "Pork Spring Roll" this time and wouldn't recommend, thought was a bit bland and the sauce wasn't helping much. Interior of the restaurant is pretty small though, more of a takeout place. Have come a few times to get lunch, always very fast and can't beat the price. ”
“ Lucky to find this great hole in the wall on my work commute. Bought a duck bahn mi and the bread is so fresh. The staff are nice and generous in portions and extra sauces. Orders are made fresh. The inside is clean and full of snacks and drinks too. Definitely want to try their other menu options in the future. ”
“ Absolutely superb!! I would've mistaken this hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese takeout joint for a cell phone shop and walked on by if it weren't for Yelp. Located on E. 44th off to the side of Grand Central station with an unassuming store front, this place makes some of the best banh mi in the city! The guy minding the counter told me the Banh Mi Saigon is his favorite sandwich here so that's what I ordered, and it did not disappoint! The bbq lemongrass pork rice box is also terrific, with tender and flavorful pork slices, served with a zesty sauce (your choice of dressing - I picked sesame basil). My toddler and I devoured the creamy taro tapioca pudding. I'm eager to try the pho, bun bo hue, coconut soups, and ramen next, but if this experience is any indication, I have high expectations of those other dishes too. I just love hidden gems like this - totally unembellished and unexpected, serving top notch food! The great prices are an extra plus. ”
“ Order: - Grilled pork bahn mi (5/5) - Pork summer rolls (4/5) Pros: - Great tasting food. The bahn mi was really filling. The pork summer rolls had a little too much mint for my taste, but was still really good - Affordable. One of the few places in the area where you can get a cheap meal and not be fast food - Quick service Cons: - Small store. Most people wait outside for their food to come out because of how small it is inside. Don't worry; the staff comes out with the food when it's ready Overall: Great place for a quick/cheap meal but great tasting Vietnamese food. I will definitely be ordering from here more ”
